BA, BFA, BS and nationally titled bachelor's degrees
A Bachelor of Fine Arts usually devotes a larger share of credits to studio work; a Bachelor of Arts balances the major with broader study; a BS or BSc often adds technical or computing content. Outside the United States the title differs again: BA (Hons) in the United Kingdom, Honours Bachelor in Ontario, Diplom or Bachelor in Germany, licence-level diplomas in France, first-level diplomas accademici in Italy and Grado in Spain. The title alone does not tell you how much animation practice a program includes — compare the published curriculum.
Admission is portfolio-led in many systems, and the application route differs by country (UCAS, CAO, Parcoursup, uni-assist or direct to the school). Portfolio instructions are recorded item by item on each program.
